Looking for a little spicy fun? The Three Rivers Salsa Festival features a fantastic line-up of South Texas entertainers and a gathering of local salsa chefs vying for the title of "Salsa Champion"!
The Salsa making contest is the highlight of the festival, with amateur and professional competitors offering their recipes for the public to sample. The competition boasts a grand prize of $1000! Grab a drink, TRY to make it through all the salsa entries, then cast your vote for your favorite!
The Hotter than Salsa Bike Ride has been canceled this due to concerns of traffic safety.

The 14th annual Salsa Festival will be held in downtown Three Rivers on Saturday, April 6th, 2013.
Entertainment on the Country & Western Stage will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Chris Rybak Band (Chris, Santiago Jimenez, Marvin Kremlin & james Rittenhouser).
The Brush Country Music Jamboree Band will begin performing at 10:30 a.m. The band will consist of Joe Nixon & Richard Helsly (Billy Mata's fiddler) on twin fiddles; James Skidmore on drums; Eddie Maxwell & Kim Green on lead guitar; Gary Carriger on Steel guitar; David Boyd on Keyboard; george Norris on rhythm guitar; Larry Sellers on bass guitar; & backup singers Lothell Dubose & Will Krause.
Guest performers will be Richard Hailey (Formally of the Neon Stars Band); Karen Williams, Casey Burr; Dottie Jack; Jade Jack; & the Ribbon Cane Bluegrass Group.
There will also be salsa tasting; slides for children, food & other vendor booths & many other activities.

Public Salsa Tasting: 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Judges Official Tasting: 1:00 p.m.
Amateur Division - Entry Fee $30

The festival will include live entertainment (country, tejano, gospel, and salsa music on two stages), exciting booths (food, drinks, arts/ crafts), and a children's area with games and attractions just for them.
